What BreedBook does

Everything a stud needs, in breeders’ words

The Arabic horse words come from the El Zahraa and Bibliotheca Alexandrina registers, so the app speaks like the stud.

Pedigrees to five generations

Open any horse to see its sire, dam and ancestors in one clear tree, and print the pedigree as a PDF in Arabic or English.

  • Sire, dam, ancestors, strain and line
  • Every stallion’s and mare’s progeny in one tap
  • Search by name, sire or dam

Questions breeders ask

Can anyone see my stud’s data?
No. The account is private. Only the people you give access to, or the people you send a presentation or a horse link to, can see anything.
Does BreedBook replace the El Zahraa pedigree certificate?
No. Official registration and pedigree certificates come from the registry, such as El Zahraa in Egypt or the Gulf registries. BreedBook is your stud’s everyday working record.
Is the Arabic the language of the stud?
Yes. We use the words of the El Zahraa and Bibliotheca Alexandrina registers: stud, stallion, mare, colt, filly, progeny, strain, line, Straight Egyptian, breeding season.
Does it work on iPhone and iPad?
Yes, in the browser on phone, iPad and computer, with nothing to install.
What does the tour cost?
The tour is free, and we don’t ask for a card.
